Mission Possible Partnership hosts the secretariat for the Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) and our CEO, Faustine Delasalle, is its Executive Director.
The Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) is a global multi-stakeholder platform, managed by Mission Possible Partnership, to fast-track decarbonisation in energy-intensive industry and transport sectors.
Michael R. Bloomberg, UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions , Founder of Bloomberg L.P. and Bloomberg Philanthropies, and ITA Co-Chair, Mark Carney, UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Faustine Delasalle, CEO of Mission Possible Partnership and Executive Director of ITA. Dr. Sultan Al-Jaber, COP28 President, also Co-Chairs the ITA.
The Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA) was launched in 2023 by the UAE COP28 Presidency, UN Climate Change, and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Their objective – to bridge the gap between climate ambitions and the actual, on-the-ground implementation of decarbonisation projects in heavy-emitting sectors.
Drawing on Mission Possible Partnership’s extensive industry networks and deep expertise, the ITA works on the ground to unlock project finance and elevates learnings on the global stage.
The Industrial Transition Accelerator country programmes deliver on the ground, in these regions: North Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Asia.
